I got my first camera from my father when I was six, I think it was a Zorki. I took my first pictures (black and white) of my little sister (a baby at the time), who has remained a faithful model ever since. After having had photography as a hobby (never getting beyond a Zenit camera) for a very long time, I decided to take it further about three years ago.
In the Spring of 2006, I published my first site (fotografiilemele.ro) and also started working on various assignments, especially press events, advertisement and fashion. Now I am a photo editor at a micro-stock agency, while in my spare time dedicated to photography I am trying to discover myself in my pictures, without necessarily looking for excessive "originality".
The site includes my latest work, images often grouped into small series. I generally shoot digital, without having given up on film (color, slide and black and white) and I do 98% of my post-processing in Adobe Lightroom.
I try not to cross the borders of my need to express myself towards fake "concepts", I prefer to convey my real story, with an unavoidable personality filter mounted on the lens.
